Graphic Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking, thoughtful graphic design professional for a full-time position for our Redmond Minerals marketing team.

Job Duties

The candidate will use their skill and creativity to support our marketing for multiple Redmond brands in a variety of ways including but not limited to:

  • Infographics that help to tell a story for our digital business channels
  • Creating engaging concepts that help connect consumers with our brands
  • Creating or editing printed and POS materials such as brochures, catalogs, displays and ads
  • Creating or editing images and photos in Photoshop
  • Design images and layouts including but not limited to advertisements, product packaging, company brand identity (logos, typography, and color palettes), internal and external publications, and web UI
  • Adhere to brand standards and style guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with copywriters and Creative Director, incorporating feedback to produce final design

Knowledge and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or relevant field -OR- proven professional experience in graphic design (4+ years minimum)
  • Must be proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Creative Cloud—Figma and Klavio experience are a plus
  • Strong typography skills, composition, layout and color sense
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent creative, writing and editing skills
  • Experience with developing graphics, illustrations, videos, gifs, and other creative materials for web, social, and other digital platforms
  • Experience with front end web design
  • Respecting deadlines, ability to adapt to changes in priority with a smile and prioritizing work is critical.
  • Strong professional and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to continuous change.
  • Ability to self-direct and self-start with exemplary planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to make independent decisions daily, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks.
