We have passion for life and are always looking for ways to be more helpful. We are deeply motivated by continual learning, self-discovery, and pursuing our deeply rooted passions. We believe in practicing consistency and intensity, and in creating momentum for the future. Passion can be found when we are contributing to something bigger than ourselves.

Occhiolism

Occhiolism is the awareness of the smallness of your perspective that leads to a thirst for understanding.
By embracing the limits of our own understanding, we can get curious about other perspectives, and be more willing to share our own. When we understand the value of gathering more information to reach a greater understanding, we can appreciate different perspectives and the variety of the world in general.

Ubuntu

Ubuntu is an African word that we’ve interpreted to mean, “I see you, I see me, and I am because we are”.  Ubuntu is about seeing and understanding yourself, appreciating and seeing others more clearly, and seeing the interconnectedness between all people. We have a deep gratitude for the strengths, differences, and perspectives of every individual, and hope they volunteer their uniqueness more frequently. We believe that people are inherently good. At Redmond, we strive to remove any friction and barriers that inhibit us from being our best selves and contributing to the world around us.

Reflection

Reflection allows us to see how far we’ve come, what’s working, what’s not, WHY, and where we can make improvements.
When we take the time to pause and ask ourselves the right questions to understand where we are right now, where we want to go, and whether we’re living in integrity with our values, we can consciously choose our next steps instead of just reacting our way through life.

Renewal

Renewal means consistently taking care of yourself so you can show up as the best version of yourself. Your own renewal mix is unique to you and critical for your overall functioning, happiness, and ability to be helpful.
Renewal is not just a nice idea or something to do if we have time. Without renewal, we can’t contribute, engage, learn, grow, or live our core values effectively in the long term. You won’t feel fulfilled or satisfied with your life if you’re burnt out.
