Reflection is one of our core values at Redmond. Reflection and celebration are not just looking at what we accomplished, but how we accomplished it. That way, we can understand what’s working and what to do more of.
2024 At Redmond
Redmond has grown and evolved so much in 2024. We released a bunch of new products, made some big and small tweaks that improved processes, and we hit $185,000,000 in revenue. That’s a big number!
We’re also working to become a blended house rather than a collection of siloed businesses, so that our customers can more easily find the products and services that will elevate their lives the most.

Together, we developed and released quite a few new products this year that add value to our customers’ lives, such as Kid’s Re-Lyte, Daily Gold Mood Support, Liquid Trophy Rock, and Apple 465, just to name a few!
Redmond also broke some personal records such as 920+ guests at Pybus Point Lodge (with 65% of groups containing a return customer!), 85% revenue increase for Re-Lyte, and a 3 million dollar fencing contract on Oahu!
Improvements and Teamwork
These are all incredible achievements, but growth like this doesn’t just happen. These numbers don’t tell the whole story of what our teams do every day to elevate the lives of our customers or of the efforts and small improvements that added up to get us to where we are today.
There are so many stories of teamwork and small improvements from 2024, but here’s one of our favorites:
Big Changes in the Milking Parlor

Milking cows is a twice-daily occurrence on any farm, including Redmond Heritage Farm. Twice a day, our dairy cows lined up to be milked in our milking parlor. As you can imagine, our teams spend a lot of time on this task. This year, our teams worked to improve the process so we can spend less time milking, minimize contamination risk, and protect the health of our cows.
“Before, it was more like ‘you do your side, and I’ll do mine,” says one of our team members. “Now, it’s a team effort. We changed the timing so that one person is setting up and the other side is milking, and then they switch.”
Our team members now work in tandem to prepare and milk the cows, which involves cleaning the udders and hooking them up to the milking machines. They’re constantly moving, and no one waits for cows to milk anymore!
We’re also improving our timing to better sync with our cows’ milking cycles and breed our heifers at the right times to minimize dips in our milk supply, and better work with the cows’ health and natural cycles.
Meaningful Stories
While we love a good process improvement story or a nice bump in numbers, what REALLY matters is how our customers experience our company. After all, our mission is to elevate the human experience. How did that look this year? How did our products affect our customer’s lives this year?
Here are just a few of our favorite stories that emerged in 2024.
Bringing Families Together at Pybus

We’re proud to be THE bucket list destination in Southeast Alaska. This year, we welcomed 3 guests with stage 4 cancer who were enjoying a final trip with their loved ones. We also hosted a family of 13, from grandparents down to 4-year-old grandkids, traveling with their grandfather for his last trip.
This is so much more than a vacation for many of our customers. It’s an incredible honor and responsibility for us to be involved in people’s lives in this way!
Creating Connection at the Stores and Cafes
A customer brought flowers and a thank-you note to our Sugarhouse Redmond Farms store and cafe because he always feels welcome there, and appreciated how the staff treated him. One associate said “The fact that he said every single person at Redmond has treated him so well and given him a safe space to be blew me away.”
That’s what it’s all about!
Culture at Pybus
We do this for our customers, but Redmond is also here to elevate the lives of our associates.
Before our season began at Pybus, our staff attended monthly video calls from November through May, and a full “staff week” before guests arrived, like a mini Lake Powell retreat! They still had to get the lodge ready for guests, but they incorporated a lot more discussion and reading than previous years.
Darryl, our Pybus lead said “It’s been fun hearing the captains who might start the Zoom calls and think it’s weird, and they get here and say that actually made a big difference in their experience this season.”
Looking Backward, Moving Forward
All the little things you do every day add up. When we work together, our individual and team efforts compound to create huge results like this.
This kind of progress and momentum takes everyone. Every person and every role contributes to our growth and our mission to elevate the human experience.
No matter your role, you helped make this happen.
We can’t wait to explore more possibilities together in 2025!
