Front of House Associate

We're looking for someone who loves connecting with people and naturally takes the lead in making them feel welcome. You're the kind of person who starts the conversation, remembers names, and makes a first-time guest feel like a regular. As our Front of House Associate, you'll set the tone for the guest experience: you'll welcome guests, help them navigate our menu, run the register, and care for our dining space. Once you're comfortable up front, you'll cross-train on our drink bar, making lattes, fresh juices, and smoothies, so you can support the team wherever you're needed. Many of our guests come to us because they care about their health and where their food comes from. You'll become knowledgeable about our farm products, from our tested raw milk and pastured eggs to our pasture-fed meats, so you can be a trusted resource for them. This role is a great fit for someone who is warm, curious, and confident leading out the experience, and who takes initiative to connect with guests rather than waiting for them to ask.

Job Duties

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests at the counter. Greet every guest warmly as they come in, start the conversation, help them navigate the menu, and make the counter feel like a place people are glad to be. A genuine love of connecting with people is essential to this role.
  • Run the register. Take orders accurately, process transactions, and follow cash-handling procedures with care and attention to detail.
  • Walk the dining room and connect with guests. Regularly step out from behind the counter to visit tables, check in on how guests are enjoying their meal, and take care of anything they need. Take the initiative to strike up conversations, get to know our regulars by name, and help first-time guests feel at home.
  • Lead out the guest experience. Own the feel of the room. Notice who needs help, who's celebrating, and who's trying us for the first time, and lead out the experience so every guest leaves feeling seen and cared for.
  • Become a product expert. Learn our menu and farm products well enough to answer questions about ingredients, sourcing, and dietary needs with confidence.
  • Care for the space. Keep the dining room, entry, and guest areas clean, stocked, and comfortable, and help run food and reset tables when it's busy.
  • Cross-train on the drink bar. Learn to make our full drink menu, including espresso drinks and lattes, fresh juices, and smoothies, following our recipes and quality standards. Keep the bar clean and stocked, and step in to support it when service calls for it.
  • Work as one team. Communicate with the kitchen to keep orders flowing, pass along guest feedback, take part in weekly team and culture meetings, and share ideas that improve the guest experience.

About Us

Redmond Heritage Farms was born out of a desire to help people seeking optimal health. That mission still guides everything we do. Our passion is clean, nutrient-rich food from healthy, well-cared-for animals. Our cows are pasture-fed, our chickens are truly free-range, and we test our milk's nutrition regularly so we can keep improving its quality. At Redmond Farm Kitchen, we bring those same real, natural farm products to the table, serving our own milk, eggs, and meats in fresh, made-from-scratch meals for people who care about what they eat and where it comes from.

We believe in the power of small family farms and that good food, grown well, can change lives. Community matters. Integrity matters. Taste matters.

Why Redmond

Redmond exists to Elevate the Human Experience in body, heart, mind, and spirit, and that starts with our own people. We want everyone on our team to be able to show up as their best, most authentic self.

  • Not your typical corporate philosophy. You won't find a ladder to climb here. We encourage you to discover the strengths you uniquely bring, and we customize roles to fit people rather than the other way around.
  • A collaborative environment. We value skill, and even more so when it's paired with great teamwork. We believe in Ubuntu: “I see you, I see me, and I am because we are.”
  • Investing in you. We want to stay curious about each other, our communities, and the world. We offer training, retreats, and development seminars meant to help you grow in every area of life, not just at work.
