SLC Kitchen Operations Coordinator

Kitchen Operations Coordinator (Line Cook + Shift Leadership) Redmond Farm Kitchen — Salt Lake City, UT 84106 Full-Time About the Role We're not just a farm-to-table kitchen — we're part of Redmond, a company that exists to elevate the human experience. We don't think of ourselves as a restaurant company. We think of ourselves as a people company that happens to serve incredible food. That distinction matters for who we're looking for. This role is for someone who wants more than a shift — someone who wants a track record. It's built for a career-minded operator who can run the line at a high level and help run the shift: coordinating prep, keeping communication flow, solving problems in real time, and owning the small details that keep a high-volume kitchen humming. You'll learn the menu and processes as an initial foundation. But this isn't a “just cook” position, and it isn't a fixed job description either. At Redmond, we don't build people around rigid titles — we build roles around people, tailoring them to your specific strengths and to what the business actually needs. This role exists because we need someone who can hold both: the craft of the line and the coordination of the shift. We believe people do their best work when they're invested in something bigger than the task in front of them — a team, a craft, a contribution that actually matters. If that resonates, we want to talk to you. What Makes This Different The Upward Spiral, not the corporate ladder. Growth here isn't about clawing toward one title — it's a model where you build skills, take on real responsibility, and shape a role around your strengths, with support to keep climbing. Real ownership, from day one on the operational side. You'll help coordinate the floor during high-volume periods, not just execute orders handed down. A voice in how things run. Input on prep planning, inventory, and team coordination — your ideas can actually change how the shift operates. A culture where leadership is everyone's job. We believe in Ubuntu — “I see you, I see me, and I am because we are.” Good teams aren't built on hierarchy alone; they're built on people who see each other and pull together. Long-term investment, both ways. Full-time associates are invited to attend company retreats and self development seminars in their first year — because we invest in people, not just labor hours. This is a company for someone looking to set down roots.

About Us

Redmond Farm Kitchen is part of Redmond — a company whose mission is to elevate the human experience, for our customers, our communities, and our own teams. We're not a restaurant company that happens to talk about values; values are the operating system. We believe in collaboration over hierarchy, contribution over prestige, and growth that never really “arrives,” because the pursuit is the point.

We believe in the power of small family farms, that good food grown well can change lives, and that our teams are made up of people pursuing their own growth, coming together to make contributions that matter.

Community matters. Integrity matters. Taste matters. We're growing, and we're looking for people who want to grow with us.
