Construction Project Administrator

Job Description

This Construction Project Administrator role with will manage and drive the end-to-end delivery of a new construction projects bid phase, through the entire construction and installation process with an emphasis on pre-construction responsibilities. He/she will oversee many project activities, interacting with others internal teams, the General Contractor, trade partners, building inspectors, suppliers, installers, and other partners, to deliver quality projects on time and on budget. A strong belief in the mission and core values of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are crucial for this position.

Job Duties
  • Work with     estimator to gather bid data, costs, material lead-times, suppliers, etc
  • Work with     Construction Manager to create and submit various required forms including     Product Submittals, Safety Plans, Schedules, etc
  • Work with     Suppliers to price and procure material
  • Work with     warehouse and shipping teams to arrange material delivery and storage
  • Work with     Project Manager on routine task such as, Daily Reports, CPR Reports,     Change Orders, etc.
  • Perform other     duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

·      High School Education or Equivalent Required.

·      Construction experience is preferred.

·      General software knowledge. Excel, Adobe, Word are required

·      Exceptional project management and organization skills,strong attention to detail.

·      Basic understanding of Insurance, Prime Contracts andSubcontracts

·      Exhibits strong commitment to customer service, bothinternal and external

·      Holds project team members accountable during all aspectsof the project

·      Experience creating, working within and/or administering anassigned budget.

·      High standard of ethics, integrity, and trust.

·      Strong work ethic and high standards for safety in theworkplace.

·      Proven ability to develop relationships and to work withteams as both a leader and a participant.

·      Effective interpersonal and communication skills; buildingrapport, listening, presenting, giving and receiving feedback.

·      Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communicationskills.

·      Some travel required; must be willing to work in or travelto other locations as needed.

·      Must be available as needed during non-traditional workhours.

·      Must be able to work independently and with groups.

·      Must be able to work under time constraints as needed.
